It is mighty hard to find purple things in the middle of winter. I think it is the hardest color to spot, perhaps this is why it was historically reserved for royalty.

High lush plains on the way to the top of Mt. Evans. It is what I imagine Ireland looks like. An air plant nestled in the branch of this tree at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
They named it Shelf Road for a reason! The photos I took don't do it justice to how thin the road was and how long the drop was with you fell off! Heading to Shelf Road north of Canon City Colorado.
