While eating lunch in Idaho Springs, CO I was able to get a photo of a Humming Bird resting on a feeder with a beautiful blue sky as a backdrop. It is a great delight to be at the Denver Zoo after normal hours. The animals act differently when there are fewer people around including…

Cool little fuzzy purple flowers. I don't know what they are but they are so soft. Purple onion, aka Allium.

Hi, my name is Chris. There are so many things in life I want to experience, from working on my writing career to the everyday joy all around me. Here is where I wrap them all up so everyone can enjoy. Thanks for stopping by!

Mother Nature is funny.
My mom once rooted a pineapple from its top. It never looked this cute!
It was Iris day at Denver Botanic Gardens. I needed to capture them before we get snow tomorrow! That's right, snow!
Next to green, brown, as I like to call it, can be seen in abundance in nature.
Look at these green babies!
Supervising mom's writing is hard work.
It was a fun time at the garden yesterday. Even though the flowers were in full bloom, these green plants can catch your eyes too.
May the fourth be with you. Celebrating with mini pizza.
We all need a moment of Zen.
